The house was the residence of the Earl of Strathmore. Over the years, however, all types of royalty have been entertained and even stayed at the property, including The Queen Mother and the late Queen Elizabeth 2nd.

Beautiful Angus Countryside on your doorstep
Glamis is a beautiful village surrounded by idyllic countryside and farmland. A short walk from the house takes you into the charming village and range of services, including a cafe, art gallery and the Gin Bothy. You will be able to see cows, sheep and a variety of Scottish wildlife on your doorstep.

The house has over 6000 square foot of living space across three floors with the majority of rooms being south facing.

Glamis Castle
Glamis Castle is one of Scotland's best castles and the most visited tourist attraction in Angus. The stunning grounds and amazing tours allow you to sample some of Scotland's rich history. There is also a gift shop, cafe and private gardens to explore.

Have a wee dram at the custom-made bar or recline on comfy Chesterfields and enjoy a drink with friends.
Games Room
Table football, pool and air hockey are available in the basement. A full-sized table-tennis table is outside under cover.
Outdoor event space
You can hire large marquees and catering facilities in the walled gardens.
